LA County Sandbags is dedicated to differentiating our company by achieving unmatched levels of customer satisfaction. The reason that co-owner Fritz Marohn (having been a general contractor in the South Bay area) set up the company in the first place more than three years ago was to fill what he perceived was a need for fast, efficient service within Los Angeles County. Since that time, our company has been called upon to expand coverage to the greater Los Angeles area, from Ventura and Palmdale towards the north, to Beaumont and San Clemente towards the south. Fritz manages the business and, having been a customer himself, is driven to make LA County Sandbags the most customer-responsive supplier of erosion-control products and services in the greater Los Angeles area. Fritz hires and trains our production, delivery and product-installation crews, ensuring that they understand industry best practices and are sensitive to customer requirements and needs.

From our customer’s perspective, LA County Sandbags’ services begin with our office staff, led by co-owner Nicole Marohn, who has a deep appreciation for our customer's needs for products and services. Nicole is an experienced office manager and has trained her staff to be courteous and professional when serving our customers. She and her staff receive customer orders via telephone, e-mail and fax. Armed with a thorough knowledge of our products and services, Nicole and her staff are able to provide immediate pricing and scheduling for most jobs and commit to delivery dates and times that are specified by our customers. Pricing for the largest jobs requiring on-site inspection and/or site-plan analysis are handled by Fritz Marohn.

Operations And Supply Chain Manager, Bob Marohn assures that our production operation is equipped to meet customer needs and that our inventory of products is sufficient to support customer orders. This includes being able to support surges in customer needs resulting from weather and other customer situations that may arise. Bob has experience in all aspects of the business, having worked in the construction industry, working in our yard and working as our first truck driver. He has attended erosion control seminars and has an in-depth understanding of industry best practices for erosion-control product and system installations.
